Once again we are coordinating all the motorsports events at the fair and we have listened to our participants to find out what they want.
The Alaska Supercross Challenge will be at the fair again. It will take place at 6:00 on Saturday August 25th.
We have included some new events as well as kept some oldie but goody staples you expect at the Alaska State Fair.
The schedule is as follows:
Friday August 24 6:00- Amateur and Youth Supercross We have listened to our younger, novice and women riders and you want your own night to shine... Here it is! We will be opening the grandstand motorsports season with you! We will be bringing 50's, 65's, 85's, supermini, novice, women and quads!
Saturday August 25th 4:00- Custom for a cause- Custom bike, tattoo and motoclothes Fashion Show Custom bikes, tattoos, live music and leather! All proceeds from this event will be going to charity.
Saturday August 25th 6:00- 5th Annual Alaska Supercross Come see Alaska's fastest supercross riders face off once again for bragging rights as Alaska's fastest rider.
Sunday August 26th 4:00- Stadium Truck Racing (formerly Tuff Truck) and Side by Side RTV Racing Last year we introduced Alaska to door to door stadium truck racing and you loved it so we are bringing it to you once again! Once again we will be racing both stock and modifieds in seperate main events.
Friday August 31st 6:00- Demolition Derby Alaska State Fair Staple! We love this event and know that you do too so we are bringing it back again, and again and AGAIN!
Saturday September 1st 4:00- Rally Cross This is a first for Alaska! The first annual Alaska State Fair RALLY CROSS!!! We will be using X Games format, Alaska's fastest rally and drift cars will be racing for cash and prizes.
Sunday September 2nd 2:00- Antique Tractor Pull Another Alaska State Fair Staple, come watch these classics do some serious work!
Sunday September 2nd 6:00- Compact Car Demolition Derby Many of you asked for it last year so we are bringing it this year! Alaska State Fair's First Compact Car Demolition Derby. A little smaller, a little quicker but hitting just as hard.
Monday September 3rd 4:00- Demolition Derby We thought the State Fair should end with a bang so we are doing it all again.
